Jasmin started creating pieces with feathers during summer 2008.
She never imagined that wearing feathers through her hair would turn into a label, but attracting such a huge response from the public lead to just that, and Jasmin Sparrow begun.
Feather braids lead to feather jewellery, which she started selling in selected boutiques throughout Wellington where Jasmin was based.
The handcrafted feather pieces grew from jewellery to headpieces, clips, collars, and eventually one-off garments.
Being surrounded by so many creatively talented and influential friends in Wellington, who were always keen to collaborate in artistic projects, has played a huge part in Jasmin Sparrow evolving into what it is today.
Now Jasmin is based in her hometown of Waihi Beach where she plays with feathers everyday, ensuring the business continues to grow and beautiful people across the globe can enjoy her creations.
